This is where we intend to write about what we are building and why. It is empty because we have been building instead. We would rather say that plainly than fill the page with borrowed opinions about the industry.
When there is something worth reading you will find it here, and you can ask to be told about it below.
Three things we actually want to write about.
Not a content calendar. These are the three subjects we keep explaining in calls, and writing them down once would save everybody the call.
The engineering behind the control plane
One account tree, multiple products, and tenant isolation enforced in the database rather than in application code. We want to write down why it is built that way, what it cost us, and where the design still leaks — including the parts where a shared control plane makes a product harder to ship, not easier.
Indian compliance, without the hand-waving
GST computed from the place of supply. DLT registration before a single message goes out. PF, ESI, TDS and professional tax, which every payroll vendor claims to handle and few explain. The rules are public and badly documented, and we have had to read them carefully. Those notes should be useful to someone building the same things.
What we got wrong and changed
Decisions we shipped, watched fail in front of a customer, and reversed. This is the category most company blogs skip, and it is the only one we would read ourselves. If we publish it, it will name the mistake rather than describing it as a learning.
