Biometric lock, and it works offline
App lock on fingerprint or face, amounts hidden on the lock screen, and the last synced figures cached — so the app still answers when the Tally PC is switched off. Every screen carries an explicit “as of” time.

A governed semantic layer sits between Tally and every surface, so a dashboard tile, a saved report, a tile on the phone and an AI answer all resolve the same measure the same way. The number never disagrees with itself.

A connector on the Tally PC
A signed Windows service that reads TallyPrime over its own XML gateway on localhost:9000. Read-only unless you switch write-back on. It auto-updates, recovers from a restart by itself, and shows its own sync health.

Reliability is the feature people switch for. Nobody moves tools because of a nicer chart — they move because the last one quietly stopped syncing on a Tuesday and nothing said so.
Incremental, idempotent sync
Per-entity cursors and replay-safe batch keys — not date-window re-pushes. A retried batch can never double-count a voucher or inflate a ledger.
Live sync status everywhere
The connector, the web console and the phone all show the same last-sync time and per-entity health. Silent staleness is the enemy.
Per-company sync key
The connector authenticates with a hashed, peppered key scoped to one company. A leaked key can write to nothing else, and you can rotate it without touching the other companies.
Tenant isolation by construction
The tenant is pinned from the verified token only — never a header, body field or URL. A cross-tenant read returns 404 instead of leaking.
Data in India, DPDP-ready
Indian data residency, argon2id password hashing, rotating tokens, audit logging, and read-only roles for the people who only need to look.
A read-only seat for your CA
Owner, accountant, viewer and read-only CA, each scoped per company. Your CA gets the books they need at quarter end and sees nothing else. Revoke the seat when the filing is done.

Questions we get asked first.
Do I have to change how I use Tally?
No. You keep working in TallyPrime exactly as you do today. The connector reads Tally through its own XML gateway on localhost and is read-only unless you explicitly enable write-back.
Does my PC need to stay on?
Only for syncing. Your data lives in the cloud, so the apps keep working — with the last synced figures and a clear “as of” time — when the Tally machine is off.
How are records counted for the plan?
Rows synced into your cloud workspace in the term — masters, vouchers, inventory lines and outstanding bills. You see a live meter, get warned at 80 % and 90 %, and can add a record pack in one tap.
What happens after the 7-day trial?
Full features for 7 days with no card. When it ends you get a clear activate prompt and a read-only grace window. Your synced data is retained through it.
Is there an iPhone app?
The Android app is on Google Play today. The iPhone app has not shipped, and we would rather say so than sell you a date. The web console works in a phone browser in the meantime, and iOS is in build.
Can my CA or accountant get access?
Yes — invite them with a viewer or accountant role, scoped per company. Owners see everything; staff and CAs see only what you grant.
Can I send payment reminders on WhatsApp?
Yes, one tap from a party or a bill — with the outstanding statement attached. Email reminders are free; WhatsApp and SMS are priced transparently before you send.
