Stock is what the accounts are made of
Item, batch, godown and billed quantity are the substance behind every figure. A number that cannot be traced back to a specific movement in a specific godown is not worth putting on a screen, so every tile drills to the voucher underneath it.
GST rides on the movement
Place of supply, rate and the tax split are decided when the voucher is posted — not reconstructed at quarter end out of a spreadsheet of invoices and a folder of PDFs. The e-invoice IRN and QR travel with the voucher.
Receivables set the calendar
Ninety days of credit to a dealer is normal, and it is also why a full order book still cannot pay salaries on the first. Ageing is not a report you run at the end of the year here. It is the first screen.

It answers when the Tally PC is off
The last synced figures are cached, the app locks on fingerprint or face, amounts stay hidden on the lock screen, and every screen carries an explicit “as of” time so nobody quotes a stale number by accident.

Who owes me over 90 days. Margin by item group this quarter. The answer resolves through the same governed measures as every report, arrives with the record count behind it, and refuses rather than inventing a figure it cannot source.

Install the connector on the Tally PC, paste one token, pick your companies. Nothing is migrated and nothing is re-keyed. The first sync usually finishes before your chai does.

A small agent backs up whole drives, file by file, into per-device encrypted storage. The key on the endpoint can write and read but cannot delete, and retention runs server-side — so ransomware on the accounts machine cannot take the history with it.

What a Tally business asks first.
Do we have to leave Tally?
No, and we would usually argue against it. TallyBridge is built on the assumption that TallyPrime stays where it is and stays the ledger of record. Comsky Books exists for the businesses whose constraint really is the desktop — several locations, access from outside the office, an enforced audit trail — and it is a separate decision, not the next step.
Will the connector change our books?
It reads TallyPrime over that product’s own XML gateway on the local machine, and it is read-only until you explicitly switch write-back on. Sync is incremental on per-entity cursors with replay-safe batch keys, so a retried batch cannot double-count a voucher.
What happens when the Tally PC is switched off?
The app keeps answering from the last synced figures and shows an explicit “as of” time on every screen. When the machine comes back the connector recovers by itself and syncs what it missed.
Where does our data sit?
In India. Each company gets its own sync key, the tenant is read from the verified token rather than from anything the client sends, and access is audit logged.
Can we start with just one product?
Yes. Most manufacturers and traders start with TallyBridge alone. Everything runs under one account tree, so adding Backup or CRM later does not mean a second login or a second bill.
Does GST and e-invoicing detail come through?
The voucher arrives with its inventory lines, batch, discount and billed quantity, the GST split, and the signed e-invoice IRN and QR — so a bill on the phone is the same bill your customer received.
