When DigitalOcean is the better choice
If you need more than one region, managed databases and Kubernetes, an object-storage product with years of production behind it, or the documentation and community that comes with a provider of that size, DigitalOcean wins on every one of those and it is not close. We run one zone. If your architecture assumes two, we are the wrong answer today.
