Comsky CRM vs Pipedrive
Pipedrive is a good pipeline tool and a lot of Indian teams run on it happily. The differences worth knowing are about where your records sit, what is included rather than added on, and what happens when the customer you just closed needs an invoice and a support reply.
Pipedrive is a mature, focused sales product with a large app marketplace. Comsky CRM is one of multiple products on a single customer record, sold by the company that answers the phone.
What actually differs.
Everything in the left column is something publicly and durably true about the other product — where the company is, how the billing is shaped, whether a capability is included or added on. Nothing here turns on a release note.
| Pipedrive | Comsky CRM | |
|---|---|---|
| Where your records live | Data centres outside India, under a foreign parent company | Servers in India — records, attachments, backups and the search index |
| What a plan includes | Tiered; several capabilities are add-ons on top of the seat | Every plan includes all nine modules. Nothing is held back for a higher tier |
| Billing | Priced per seat, billed in a foreign currency for most Indian buyers | One prepaid rupee wallet, one GST invoice, ITC claimable |
| Beyond the pipeline | An app marketplace to connect other vendors’ products | The other Comsky products on the same customer record and the same login |
| Who answers a question | Support in another timezone | Support in IST, from Noida, on every plan and every tier |
| Getting your data out | Export is supported | Any filtered list to Excel from inside the product; the whole workspace through the API |
When Pipedrive is the better choice
If your team already lives inside a large ecosystem of third-party sales tools and you want the widest marketplace to plug them together, Pipedrive has years of head start there and we do not. The same goes for a sales team with no interest in the rest of a suite: buying one focused product from a specialist is a perfectly good decision, and you should not pay for things you will never switch on.
Pipedrive is the trademark of its owner and is named here only to describe the comparison. Comsky is not affiliated with them. If you think something on this page is out of date or unfair, tell us and we will correct it — that is cheaper for us than being wrong in public.
The honest way to decide is to use it.
Seven days on TallyBridge, a free trial on the rest, and support in IST while you are evaluating rather than after you have paid.
