Comsky CRM vs Zoho CRM
This is the comparison we have to be most careful with, because the easy argument does not apply. Zoho is an Indian company with Indian data centres and a GST invoice, so data residency and rupee billing are not differences between us. What is different is how much product there is, and what that costs you in setup.
Zoho is the larger and older suite by a wide margin, with far more products and a deeper feature set inside each. Comsky is a smaller suite whose products were designed against one account model from the start.
What actually differs.
Everything in the left column is something publicly and durably true about the other product — where the company is, how the billing is shaped, whether a capability is included or added on. Nothing here turns on a release note.
| Zoho CRM | Comsky CRM | |
|---|---|---|
| Data residency | Indian data centres available | Servers in India — the same answer, and we will not pretend otherwise |
| Breadth of the suite | Far more products, covering more ground than we do | Multiple products, each of which has to earn its place |
| What a plan includes | Editions, with capability gated by edition | All nine modules on every plan; the tier changes seats, not features |
| Setting it up | Highly configurable, which is a strength and a project | Fewer choices to make before the first deal is on the board |
| Billing across products | Per-product subscriptions, or a bundle | One prepaid wallet every product draws from, one GST invoice |
| Tally-based books | Its own accounting product to migrate to | TallyBridge, which leaves TallyPrime where it is |
When Zoho CRM is the better choice
If you need depth — deep customisation, a long tail of modules, a partner network to implement it, or products we simply do not make — Zoho has all of that and we do not pretend to match it. If you are already standardised on Zoho across the business, adding another vendor to save a little is usually a bad trade.
Zoho CRM is the trademark of its owner and is named here only to describe the comparison. Comsky is not affiliated with them. If you think something on this page is out of date or unfair, tell us and we will correct it — that is cheaper for us than being wrong in public.
The honest way to decide is to use it.
