Priced on the storage you hold. Nothing else is gated.
Every tier runs the same agent, keeps the same restore points and restores the same four ways — the plan changes how much you can store and how quickly we answer the phone, not what the product will do for you in an incident. No egress charge to read your own data back. Quoted ex-GST; 18 % applies and is claimable as input tax credit.
14 days, no card. 50 GB across the workspace, and the whole product with nothing held back — whole-drive file backup and all four restore paths included. It turns into a paid plan, or it stops.

Storage is measured from the object store itself, after deduplication and compression — not from what was sitting on disk. Extra storage is charged per GB per month. Restores and egress are free on every plan, including the trial. The allowance is a workspace total, not a per-device figure. Prices are ex-GST; 18 % GST applies and is claimable as input tax credit.
The list is the same on all three.
This is deliberate, and it is the part worth checking against anyone else you are looking at. The plan decides your storage allowance and your support response. It does not decide whether you get shadow-copy reads, or verification, or the restore path you happen to need at 2am.
The number on the invoice is the number in the console.
Storage held after deduplication and compression, measured from the object store. Not from what was on disk, not from a vendor ratio, and not from a per-device count.
No egress, ever
Reading your own data back is free on every plan, including the trial. There is no exit fee and no charge that only appears at the moment you most need the data.
Measured after dedup
A nightly run on a server that changed by 2 GB adds roughly 2 GB, not another copy of the drive. What you are billed on is what the object store actually holds.
You are told before you cross it
Storage crossing its limit is one of the alerts, in the console and in your inbox. A workspace does not quietly stop backing up because nobody was watching a number.
Find out on a Tuesday, not during the incident.
Install the agent on one machine, let it run overnight, and restore something back in the morning. That is the whole evaluation, and it takes about ten minutes of your time. Restoring is the only part worth testing, so test that.
The first run is the expensive one
Everything is new, so plan for it to run overnight — and it does not have to finish in one sitting. An interrupted run resumes from its last checkpoint rather than starting the upload again.
Then test the only feature that matters
Open the restore point, walk it like a filesystem, and pull one file back to your browser. If that works, the product works. Everything else on these pages is in service of that one minute.
Nothing is charged to find out
Fourteen days, 50 GB, no card, and restores are free. There is no pricing surprise waiting at the end of the evaluation, because reading your own data back is never billed.
About the invoice.
What is in the trial?
The whole product, with nothing held back: 14 days, 50 GB across the workspace, no card. Whole-drive file backup, all four restore paths, the console and the alerts. At the end it turns into a paid plan or it stops.
What is actually different between the plans?
The storage allowance and the support response. Nothing else. Every tier runs the same agent, keeps the same restore points and restores the same four ways — because the only entitlement the product enforces is the workspace storage allowance. We are not going to list a feature gate here that does not exist in the software.
Is the allowance per device or per workspace?
Per workspace. The figure on each plan is the total across every device attached to that workspace, compared against what the object store actually holds after deduplication and compression.
What happens if we go over the allowance?
An alert fires before you reach it, in the console and by email. Extra storage is charged per GB per month. Nothing is deleted and no backup is silently dropped because of a billing line.
Does a restore cost anything?
No. Restores and egress are free on every plan, including the trial. Reading your own data back is not something we charge for.
Is GST included in those figures?
No, they are ex-GST. 18 % applies on top and is claimable by you as input tax credit.
What if we leave?
Restores and egress are free, so you can pull everything back down before you go. There is no exit fee, and no charge that only appears when you try to read your own data.
How should I evaluate it?
In about ten minutes of your own time. Install the agent on one machine, let it run overnight, and restore something in the morning. Restoring is the only part worth testing, so test that. Find out on a Tuesday, not during the incident.
Prices are for Comsky Backup on Comsky-operated storage. Bring-your-own-storage, which would be priced per seat rather than by capacity, is on the roadmap and is not shipped — so it is not on this page as a plan. Figures shown in the console mockup above are demo data.
